The technical work

Azure Cloud Engineering

Start with the work your team needs. These topics guide the scope discussion; your proposal confirms compatibility, included tasks and required licences.

Infrastructure and application delivery

  • Cloud architecture

Azure VMs, storage, application roles and networking

  • Migration assessment

Source dependencies, destination configuration and validation

  • Infrastructure as code

ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform and approved deployment workflows

  • Containers and platforms

AKS, Docker, Helm and service integration

  • Hybrid connectivity

VPN, firewall and network routing requirements

Operational integration

  • Identity and access

Azure identity roles, service permissions and administrative controls

  • Observability

Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and application diagnostics

  • Delivery automation

Azure DevOps and existing CI/CD tooling

  • Event workloads

Event Hubs and Kafka on AKS requirements reviewed for the project

  • Cost and recovery review

Capacity recommendations, backup responsibilities and recovery checks

Review the environment before changing it.

Include the server versions, roles and current priorities in your inquiry. Access, change approvals and recovery responsibilities are agreed during onboarding.

Your service agreement

Know who handles what.

Your server environment connects systems, applications, users and data. Your proposal identifies which responsibilities SDH accepts and which remain with your team.

Environments covered
SDH assesses compatibility before starting work. The proposal names each server or website covered by the service. If the environment is unsupported, SDH refunds the payment.
Included work
The accepted task list defines maintenance, monitoring, updates and incident work. SDH provides reports covering issues, updates and completed tasks. You review the work and confirm completion. SDH handles customer communication, prepares and approves quotations, coordinates escalation, and provides a handover when management ends. You approve changes to your environment before SDH proceeds.
Exclusions
Application development, redesigns, licences, infrastructure and projects outside the agreed scope are separate unless expressly included.
Agreed management coverage
Your selected package and accepted proposal define the covered systems, tasks, staffing, hours and escalation responsibilities. Additional time or wider coverage requires your approval and is invoiced separately; a checkout approval or spending limit does not increase the purchased scope.
Monitoring and corrective action
The selected package and accepted scope identify the checks, schedule, escalation contacts and any investigation or corrective work. SDH obtains your permission before making changes.
Response and emergency coverage
SDH support is available 24/7, with an initial response within 1 hour. Emergencies receive immediate attention. Resolution time depends on the issue's complexity. SDH handles customer communication and escalation.
Access and change approval
SDH obtains your permission before making any changes. Share administrative access only through the agreed secure process, and identify the person who can approve work. Keep credentials out of the initial inquiry. Revoke access or rotate passwords and keys when the work ends or access is no longer needed.
Additional time and coverage
SDH agrees additional work and charges with you before proceeding. Each hourly checkout covers one approved hour; additional approved time is invoiced separately.
Refunds and handover
SDH assesses your environment before starting work. If the environment is unsupported, SDH refunds the payment. SDH Server Management also includes a 30 day, no questions asked refund policy. When management ends, SDH provides a handover of the completed work and relevant information.

A useful first inquiry is simple.

Describe the environment, the issue or goal, and the person who can approve decisions. Secure access follows the agreed onboarding process.

Ask About Your Setup
Can you review an existing Azure deployment?

Provide the architecture, current concerns and intended outcome. SDH can scope an assessment, recommend changes and agree the implementation steps. The project determines the depth of review.

Can the project include AKS or hybrid networking?

Include the cluster, identity, firewall and connectivity requirements. These areas can form part of an engineering engagement when compatibility and responsibilities have been confirmed.

How is an hourly engagement arranged?

Each checkout purchases one approved engineer hour for the selected task. Share your setup and expected result so SDH can agree the work and reporting arrangement. An approval or spending limit does not purchase additional hours. Additional time requires agreement and is invoiced separately.

How do we share access and approve work?

SDH obtains your permission before making any changes. Share administrative access only through the agreed secure process, and identify the person who can approve work. Keep credentials out of the initial inquiry. Revoke access or rotate passwords and keys when the work ends or access is no longer needed.

When is SDH support available?

SDH support is available 24/7, with an initial response within 1 hour. Emergencies receive immediate attention. Resolution time depends on the issue's complexity. SDH handles customer communication and escalation.

What are the refund and handover terms?

SDH assesses your environment before starting work. If the environment is unsupported, SDH refunds the payment. SDH Server Management also includes a 30 day, no questions asked refund policy. When management ends, SDH provides a handover of the completed work and relevant information.

How are work and completion reported?

SDH provides reports covering issues, updates and completed tasks. You review the work and confirm completion. SDH handles customer communication, prepares and approves quotations, coordinates escalation, and provides a handover when management ends. You approve changes to your environment before SDH proceeds.

How is management coverage defined?

Your selected package and accepted proposal define the covered systems, tasks, staffing, hours and escalation responsibilities. Additional time or wider coverage requires your approval and is invoiced separately; a checkout approval or spending limit does not increase the purchased scope.

How do ordering and payment work?

The package cards show the USD price, billing arrangement and covered scope. Order Now opens checkout for the selected package. There is no additional onboarding fee; any setup fee explicitly listed still applies. SDH assesses compatibility and confirms the covered environment and service arrangements before work starts. Credentials are collected through secure onboarding after purchase. Extra time or coverage requires approval and separate invoicing.
