The technical work

Security Operations Center

Start with the work your team needs. These topics guide the scope discussion; your proposal confirms compatibility, included tasks and required licences.

Detect and understand

  • Security event sources

Identify servers, cloud services, endpoints and logs that need visibility.

  • Log collection

Plan collection, retention, access and event correlation.

  • Threat assessment

Review suspicious activity against relevant threat intelligence and context.

  • Vulnerability findings

Prioritize weaknesses and connect findings with remediation owners.

  • Detection validation

Agree safe test scenarios and verify that useful signals reach the right people.

Respond and improve

  • Incident triage

Define severity, escalation contacts and authorized containment actions.

  • Investigation

Review available evidence and determine the scope of an incident.

  • Recovery coordination

Plan restoration steps with system owners and relevant providers.

  • Security reporting

Agree incident records, trend reports and practical improvement actions.

  • Operational review

Revisit rules, responsibilities and coverage as the environment changes.

Review the environment before changing it.

Include the server versions, roles and current priorities in your inquiry. Access, change approvals and recovery responsibilities are agreed during onboarding.

Your service agreement

Know who handles what.

Start with the systems, responsibilities and intended outcome. SDH confirms compatibility, access, change approval and completion checks before the work begins.

Environments covered
SDH assesses compatibility before starting work. The proposal names each server or website covered by the service. If the environment is unsupported, SDH refunds the payment.
Included work
The accepted task list defines maintenance, monitoring, updates and incident work. SDH provides reports covering issues, updates and completed tasks. You review the work and confirm completion. SDH handles customer communication, prepares and approves quotations, coordinates escalation, and provides a handover when management ends. You approve changes to your environment before SDH proceeds.
Exclusions
Application development, redesigns, licences, infrastructure and projects outside the agreed scope are separate unless expressly included.
Agreed management coverage
Your selected package and accepted proposal define the covered systems, tasks, staffing, hours and escalation responsibilities. Additional time or wider coverage requires your approval and is invoiced separately; a checkout approval or spending limit does not increase the purchased scope.
Monitoring and corrective action
The selected package and accepted scope identify the checks, schedule, escalation contacts and any investigation or corrective work. SDH obtains your permission before making changes.
Response and emergency coverage
SDH support is available 24/7, with an initial response within 1 hour. Emergencies receive immediate attention. Resolution time depends on the issue's complexity. SDH handles customer communication and escalation.
Access and change approval
SDH obtains your permission before making any changes. Share administrative access only through the agreed secure process, and identify the person who can approve work. Keep credentials out of the initial inquiry. Revoke access or rotate passwords and keys when the work ends or access is no longer needed.
Additional time and coverage
SDH agrees additional work and charges with you before proceeding. Each hourly checkout covers one approved hour; additional approved time is invoiced separately.
Refunds and handover
SDH assesses your environment before starting work. If the environment is unsupported, SDH refunds the payment. SDH Server Management also includes a 30 day, no questions asked refund policy. When management ends, SDH provides a handover of the completed work and relevant information.

Ask About Your Setup
Is a fixed SOC package price available?

The service is quoted to match the environment. Share the number of systems, event sources, required coverage, retention and existing security tools so SDH can prepare a proposal.

Does the service guarantee round the clock incident response?

SDH support is available 24/7, with an initial response within 1 hour. Emergencies receive immediate attention. Resolution time depends on the issue's complexity. SDH handles customer communication and escalation. A dedicated SOC monitoring team or continuous monitoring operation is included only when that staffing and scope are expressly agreed; general SDH support coverage does not create a dedicated SOC engagement.

How do I start a request?

Contact SDH with the environment, requested work and desired outcome. SDH reviews compatibility and prepares a scope and quotation before service begins. The proposal defines coverage, responsibilities, staffing, hours, escalation and billing. Keep passwords, private keys, API tokens and recovery codes out of the inquiry; arrange access through secure onboarding.

What will the quotation cover?

Your quotation identifies the accepted systems, tasks, responsibilities, billing and completion checks. Hosting, commercial licences and backup storage are separate unless expressly included. SDH confirms compatibility and obtains your approval before making changes.

What are the refund and handover terms?

SDH assesses your environment before starting work. If the environment is unsupported, SDH refunds the payment. SDH Server Management also includes a 30 day, no questions asked refund policy. When management ends, SDH provides a handover of the completed work and relevant information.

Who approves changes and controls access?

SDH obtains your permission before making any changes. Share administrative access only through the agreed secure process, and identify the person who can approve work. Keep credentials out of the initial inquiry. Revoke access or rotate passwords and keys when the work ends or access is no longer needed.

How are work and completion reported?

SDH provides reports covering issues, updates and completed tasks. You review the work and confirm completion. SDH handles customer communication, prepares and approves quotations, coordinates escalation, and provides a handover when management ends. You approve changes to your environment before SDH proceeds.

How is management coverage defined?

Your accepted proposal defines the covered systems, tasks, staffing, hours and escalation responsibilities. Additional time or wider coverage requires your approval and is invoiced separately.
