The main business domain in the certificate request.
Organization validation (OV)
Combine HTTPS for one domain with verification of the organization behind it. SDH High Assurance SSL suits a business that needs organization-validated certificate details while keeping its website coverage focused on one main name.
Know the names you are securing
This OV certificate adds organization identity checks to domain-control validation. It covers one domain and its eligible www/non-www pair rather than every address used by the business.

The main business domain in the certificate request.

The eligible paired www address, confirmed before issuance.

A separate service hostname that is not automatically included.
Organization validation does not expand the domain coverage. Other subdomains or separate brands need an appropriate certificate. OV is an identity-validation difference, not a promise of stronger encryption than DV.
Match the requirement
Start with the addresses you need to protect and the identity checks your organization requires.

A business or institution that requires its verified legal identity to be represented in the certificate.

A project where organization validation is specified by the customer's own security or purchasing requirements.

A single domain whose operator is ready to complete organization checks and manage certificate installation.
HTTPS encrypts data in transit between supported clients and a correctly configured server. It does not guarantee that a website is malware-free or replace secure application and server administration.
Before you begin
Use the correct organization legal name and confirm who can respond to the CA's checks. The CA determines which supporting information is necessary; confirm its current requirements before sending documents.

A CSR is request data, not a private key. Keep private keys, passwords, payment-card details and identity documents out of ordinary website enquiry forms.
A manual process, with clear responsibilities
SDH coordinates your certificate order. The CA performs validation and issuance; your administrator handles installation.

Select the prepaid period for SDH High Assurance SSL. Review the full upfront total and confirm the names and validation requirements with SDH before proceeding.

Prepare a CSR for the main domain, confirm the eligible www pair, and supply the organization legal name through the agreed ordering and validation process.

Complete domain control and the CA's organization checks. These may require additional information and business days; issuance depends on the CA accepting the evidence, not simply on payment.

Your administrator installs the issued certificate and chain, configures HTTPS and checks the secured names. Later reissuance can require this step again.
Your selected 1 year prepaid period is paid in full upfront. It does not produce one certificate valid for an unrestricted period. CA and browser rules determine individual certificate validity. Later reissuance, validation and installation may be required within the prepaid subscription.
Understand the purchase
Choose the right certificate coverage and agree any additional technical assistance separately.

Browser and device trust depends on valid issuance, supported clients and correct server configuration. A site seal is available only where the issuer supplies and licenses one for the product.

Later certificate replacement may require renewed checks of the organization or domain. Keep an appropriate organization contact available throughout the subscription and plan installation each time a new certificate is issued.
Renewal is arranged manually; pricing will be confirmed before renewal. Reissuance is subject to the issuer's rules and does not include SDH installation labor or promise that every name change is free.
Frequently asked questions

OV verifies the organization as well as domain control. That identity check does not expand the single-domain coverage.
Do not rely on a particular browser display. Modern browser interfaces vary. OV verifies organization details in the certificate; it does not promise a visible company-name badge or a green address bar.
The CA decides the current evidence needed for the organization and application. SDH can coordinate the requirements; this page does not prescribe a universal document list.
This product covers one domain and an eligible www pairing. Consider SDH OV Multi-Domain SSL for three named domains or subdomains with organization validation.
No. The certificate purchase does not include installation, server repair, mixed-content fixes or continuous certificate management. Your hosting administrator installs and verifies the certificate; ask SDH about separately agreed assistance if needed.
No. The prepaid term is the purchased subscription period. Individual certificate validity is subject to CA and browser requirements, so you may need reissuance, validation and replacement installation during that period.
Renewal is arranged manually; pricing will be confirmed before renewal. New validation and issuance steps may be needed. The current prepaid price is not a promise of future renewal pricing or automatic renewal.
